Model Description
Alzheimer's Disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by cognitive decline, memory impairment, and behavioral abnormalities. Our AD animal models replicate two critical pathological hallmarks:

1. Amyloid-beta (Aβ) plaque deposition

2. Cognitive-memory dysfunction validated by behavioral tests

Modeling Methods

1. Anesthetize SD rats and perform stereotaxic surgery using a digital brain atlas.

2. Bilateral hippocampal microinjection: 5 μL Aβ25-35 per hemisphere (coordinates: 3.5 mm posterior to bregma, ±2 mm lateral).

3. Post-injection stabilization: 5-minute needle retention to ensure proper diffusion.
